My Story

I Started offending at 8 years of age and was a persistent offender for a lot of my young adult life. To say I have had a colourful past would be an understatement.

From a young age, I have had a life long fascination for behaviour.

I had taught trauma resilience workshops in the community on and off for years.

I wanted to find a pathway, away from the scars that my past had left. To take back control from the trauma, to put an end to the panic attacks and waking up covered in sweat at 3am. To stop the memories that never seemed to stay hidden for long and to become a Lion.

To do this, I knew I would have to go to university and study the field and make a program that would work.

I was sick of losing people close to me, who could not cope with their past trauma. Who gave up their dreams and never stood a chance..

In 2019 the Lion theory was created and with it a framework that actually worked. The same year; my work went in front of the Youth and Crime committee, at the House of Commons. The feedback was amazing. Finally after years of studying and a lifelong quest to find something that actually had an impact on the trauma....

The Lion Program was born.

In memory of all those butterflies who got their wings too early.
